Welcome to my web site. I am a professional artist and teacher working on the Wirral Peninsula, which is in the Northwest of England squashed between North Wales and Liverpool.
My work can be found in numerous galleries all over the country.

Most of my subjects are cityscapes which are painted in a very loose and direct style.
I use heavy textured paper, lots of water, plenty of colour and several years of experience to build up images that are both challenging and informative to the viewer.

I paint mostly in watercolours and all my subjects come from first hand experience and observation.
My watercolours aim to achieve a balance between form and content.
In other words, allowing the paint and water to drip, splash and dance across the paper in a natural intuitive journey, but at the same time allowing the images to come through.

All the work on this site is probably already sold but commissions are always welcome.
